Why Fortuitous Adventures?!

I live a spontaneous life. I have a lot of random, unrelated hobbies, and there are things that I've done and experienced that I would love to share with you in hopes that it inspires you to take action and experience the adventure for yourself. Whether it's a DIY project around the house, traveling to a far away foreign land, or building up the courage to try something new - I'm here to share my adventures for you.

fortuitous - adjective [ fawr-too-i-tuhs, -tyoo- ]

happening or produced by chance; accidental: a fortuitous encounter. lucky; fortunate: a series of fortuitous events that advanced her career.

I chose fortuitous because I needed a word to describe my random adventures. Sometimes they are produced by chance, often times they are lucky (when an opportunity surfaces, snag it!), but most of all I am fortunate for them. Many haven't been easy to come by and are the result of hard work, so don't expect adventure to always come easy, but if you seek it, you will find it. Regardless of where you are searching.

So what kind of adventures should you expect? Well, as I mentioned, I have a lot of unrelated hobbies, so be prepared to learn a little about everything if you choose to follow the journey.

  • Travel - anywhere and everywhere;

  • Horses - mine are like large dogs, but with hooves;

  • Jeeps and related offroading activities;

  • Overlanding - vehicle based travel and living

  • Health & Nutrition - what I've learned from CrossFit and coaching;

  • Do it Yourself (DIY) - meal prep, home updates;

  • Real Estate Investing - my newest adventure, preparing us for a future of Overlanding the world; and

  • Dogs - who doesn't love cute pictures of dogs?

Get ready for some fun and information sharing. I'd love to hear from you and your thoughts. Please be polite of my views and others. This is a space to collaborate, share, and learn from one another, not judge others for their differing views. Embrace the diversity!
